12/13/06 The last session of Pre-Vis was yesterday and since I got the voices recorded I haven't written an entry in my blog, so... I've done a lot of reading, online and in books about animation and its processes. It is interesting to trace the history of animation and its uses and its technologies. How in an effort to mirror live action film making Disney developed the multi-plane camera. Its also interesting to note how I'm going to use Maya this way. The recording session went well and I'm looking forward to putting the girls voices into the slug track. I was sick for a week and used that time to make most of the Nikky and Jenna models. I finished a gant chart on how things are going to get produced and I have already begun some of the work. I'm most concerned about rigging but I'm hoping this fear is unfounded and it doesn't take near the time that I think it will. Lastly my focus I guess will be on animation because in the event that I am going to change careers animating I think is what I would like to do. After I'm done posting I'm going to insert the dialogue and finish Jenna.
